Terms, in plain English.

Here is what you are actually agreeing to when you use Fanded, written the way we would explain it to a friend. For the real legal text (the one lawyers read), we have a separate page.

What Fanded is

Fanded is business infrastructure for working talent. Musicians, actors, athletes, creators, directors. The platform has two pieces right now. MAWD is a private team of AI agents that run the operational side of your career (finances, calendar, contracts, fan messages, opportunities). Fanded Clubs is where your anonymous fans become known members you can actually talk to and sell to.

You stay in charge. Fanded is the system that runs behind you so you can stay creating.

Who can sign up

You need to be at least 18. If you are signing up on behalf of a company, LLC, or someone else, you need the authority to agree to a contract on their behalf. Managers and agents can operate sub-accounts under one primary account.

Your account is yours to protect

Keep your login info accurate, keep your password secure, and do not share your credentials. If something bad happens through your account, we assume it was you. Treat your Fanded login the way you treat your bank login.

How MAWD actually works

MAWD is a team of five specialist AI agents: a CFO, an A&R, an agent, a manager, and a publicist. They work in the background on the stuff you hate, so you can focus on the stuff only you can do.

They only act within the permissions you grant. You can expand those permissions, shrink them, or revoke them entirely at any time.

What MAWD will not do without your sign-off

High-impact actions always get flagged for your approval before MAWD takes them. By default, MAWD will not:

• Sign contracts. Any deal that binds you legally waits for you.
• Send money. No transfers, no payouts, no wire instructions without explicit approval.
• Post publicly. Nothing goes out on your social, press, or channels until you say so.
• Commit to deals. Sync offers, brand deals, features, appearances: MAWD drafts the response, you hit send.

Fanded is not your lawyer, accountant, agent, or manager. We are the system that makes each of those jobs ten times easier for you to run.

Money and fees

Fanded is a paid service. Here is how the money works:

• Subscription. You pay a monthly or annual fee for access to MAWD and the platform.
• Usage-based. Some features charge based on how much you use them (heavy compute, large integrations).
• Platform fee on Fanded Clubs. When your fans pay you through Fanded Clubs, we take a small platform fee. Stripe or the payment processor also takes their own percentage.
• Transaction percentage. On some deals we facilitate, Fanded may earn a percentage.

Taxes on any of this are your responsibility (though MAWD will track them for you). Paid fees are generally non-refundable unless local law says otherwise.

Your content and data belong to you

Everything you create and upload on Fanded is still yours. Your songs. Your videos. Your fan list. Your financial data. Your contracts. We have a limited license to use your content only so the Services can function. When you leave, you take everything with you.

Your fans are your fans

One of the core reasons Fanded exists: your fans are your relationship, not the platform's. The names, emails, purchase history, and engagement data we hold, we hold on your behalf. If you ever leave Fanded, you can export all of it. We are not a middleman between you and the people who care about your work.

What you cannot do on Fanded

• Break the law.
• Use Fanded to harm, deceive, or defraud anyone.
• Upload malicious code or try to break the Service.
• Reverse-engineer our code or try to extract our AI.
• Violate other people's intellectual property or privacy.

If you do any of these, we will suspend or terminate your account.

Third-party integrations

When you connect your Spotify, Instagram, Stripe, bank account, or any other external service, that service has its own terms and we do not control it. If Spotify has an outage, MAWD cannot magically make it work. If you break Stripe's rules, Stripe will deal with you directly.

AI can be wrong

MAWD is good but not perfect. It can misread a contract, miss a royalty line, misclassify an email, or hallucinate a fact. Always review important decisions before acting on them. Treat AI outputs like a smart first draft, not a final answer. Outputs do not count as legal, tax, or financial advice.

Leaving Fanded

You can delete your account or export your data whenever you want. We remove your data from active systems in a reasonable timeframe, keeping only what we are legally required to retain (things like tax records). We will not hold your fan list, your data, or your career hostage. Ever.

If something goes wrong

Email hello@fanded.com first. We are small enough that a real person will read your message and try to fix it. If we cannot work it out, disputes go to binding arbitration, which is faster and cheaper than court.

By agreeing to these Terms, you are waiving the right to a jury trial and the right to participate in class action lawsuits. This is standard for software services, but we want you to see it clearly.

Other standard stuff

The Services are provided "as is." Our total liability is capped. These Terms are governed by California law. We may update the Terms with notice. If any clause is somehow unenforceable, the rest still stands. You cannot transfer the Terms to someone else without our sign-off.
